Answer routine questions with what you care about to share more and filter for real matches
Instead of just saying 'I work at a nonprofit,' say 'I love helping animals, so this place lets me do that, and honestly, I'm getting to live by the beach, and that's not such a bad perk either.' Answering with what you care about shares two things at once — in the example, helping animals and being by the water. Lacing enough values-based answers into conversation stops you wasting time on people you were never going to connect with and helps you find ones who match who you actually are.
